Federal TrainingsSubstance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Multimedia Mental Health Education Effort The campaign, “Mental Health: It’s Part of All Our Lives,” includes broadcast and print public service advertisements that seek to educate the public that mental illnesses are common and that recovery can be expected. The campaign is a three-year initiative in eight states: California, Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant Applicants Webcast Training To provide an overview of the grants application process and direct interested parties to the latest information on its discretionary grants, SAMHSA has produced a short webcast. Anyone interested in applying for a SAMHSA grant is encouraged to view this program to ensure that they are clear on the latest application procedures and critical requirements. This lecture series offers health care professionals and the public the opportunity to learn more about complementary and alternative medicine therapies and the state-of-the-science about them through video lectures.
