Evidence-based Practice
Developing and Assessing an Evidence-Base
The following resources may be of use to program developers and evaluators who are interested in developing an evidence-base for an intervention. If you need assistance with any of these materials, or would like individualized assistance related to developing an evidence-base, please contact TEC.
- Manualizing your intervention: A critical component in developing an evidence-based practice is developing a manual or workbook for your practice. Doing so should ensure that your practice is implemented with fidelity and achieves expected outcomes. Click here for information on obtaining our toolkit on manuals and workbook.
- Developing a fidelity measure for your intervention: Another critical component in developing an evidence-based practice is having a measure of fidelity. Gary Bond and colleagues have developed a toolkit on how to measure
fidelity.
